Hey, just wondering if something is wrong with my phone or this is how it has always been. I find that the software on the phone, and the whole interface can be very slow at times. For example you take a picture it takes a while for it to give u the save option, it says loading for a while. Its terrible with videos, u take a video, and then when u press stop, it takes like 10+ seconds to "load" and then u can decide to discard or save it. Also in general it takes forever to move around at times. FOr example say you are calling someone, and you press the Cancell Call/Hangup button, it won;t do it rite away, but u gotta press it a few times and eventualy it hangs up. Basically the phone seems to be lacking in reponsiveness.
Perhaps mine is just messeed up, because i did kinda fool around with MPT, and stuff, and had to reset the phone at one point (lost a bunch of data e.t.c).
EDIT - btw i am talking in terms of speed, relative to say my old Nokia 3595, or even the current Nokia and such. Even older MOtorola models are quick and responsive. Perhaps its because i have alot of applications? (i still have like 50% space free). Dunno, but any help/ideas appreciated.

For Video it taking up alot of memory and also have to convert it to 3gb format to play, I have heard from CSR that you need to power down fone 15 min aday to avoid echo, drop call... Any way got mine for six months now no prolem like that but i went flash it with the lates frimware and a battery saver flex that will give the fone a week or more on stanby time and 8.3m of space

Ok, Old_Fool, your gonna have to hook it up with the flash pack for my phone, I'm starting to like the fact that the pictures and such are nicer with more memory. IM is no loss to me but more room and such is.

The phone itself doesn't have 5mb of shared memory, it has 5mb after the branded objects are inserted, basically, after the cram all their adds into the phone, you have 5mb to do what you want.

Well if the phone is anything like the V600 slow menu response can be fixed by changing the flex on the phone.
