I turned on my Samsung S307 phone and all of a sudden it wont let me use it without a password. I never enabled a password nor set one up. It's my only phone and I need it. I tried 00000000 (default)and it doesn't accept it. What is the problem and what can I do to fix it. Before I can get to any menus or options it requests a password. I've had this phone for a week and for it to all of a sudden do this is frustrating. I am out of the state where I purchased the phone and cannot return for a few days. Any advice would help. Thanks.

1. remove your simcard.
2. power on your phone, and input *2767*STACKRESET# <====*2767*7822573738#
the phone will reboot soon. just wait until it is back on.
3. insert sim, and use.
simple. isn't it?

After removing my sim card, I cannot type letters in. I can put in *2767* but once I get to typing in stackstreet it wont let me use letters. I know how to use the letters but its not letting me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I still need help!
I've been to 6 Cingular dealerships within the last 24 hours to have someone try and fix my phone which still wont let me get past the lock. I've seen the best technicians in my area and they are befuddled. Partly because the phone is so new. The techie. called Samsung and they cannot provide any assistance. They are the only one's that can help but they say they cannot help unless I mail in my cell phone.
THIS IS MY ONLY PHONE! If there is an angel out there who can tell me exactly, verbatim what to do. Please.
Thanks

you are not expected to type in letters. just press the numbers which are corresponding to the letters. For example, number 2 is for A,B,C, 3 is for D,E,F... etc. LOOK AT THE KEYPAD.
*2767*7822573738# is the input for *2767*STACKRESET#

After removing the sim card, and typing that in, it says wrong entry. I'm taking it back to the dealer tomorrow. Hopefully I can get another phone instead of a loaner.
