Hi all,
I have three v180's, all new.
When powered on, two of these phones display a "searching for network" message. Sometimes for up to a min before going to the main screen. The third one NEVER does this and goes straight to the main screen with 5 bars.
All the settings seem identical yet the former two phones do seem to have connectivity issues while the third never does. For example right now all three are side by side in my living room. One shows 5 bars and the other two show one and two respectivly.
Any ideas on this?

That may just be a firmware thing, if one V180 the strong one is newer thats probably under a different firmware and searches a slightly stronger wavelength than the other 2, not for sure but maybe. And its possible to update the other 2 if its that important you just have to find the flash/flex's and take the risk of doing it. Most of the time flash/flexing comes out smooth, sometimes it doesn't.

Here's a dumb one....
Where do I find a software update if Motorola does not provide them and it voids my warranty?
TIA,
