I dont think so man, as you cannot do it with MP3's and MP3's are just comressed wav files. If you want to read up on getting MP3's to your phone read this thread, I personally havent read through it but might be something in there that can help you:

WAV is waveform, and MIDI is a set of commands what instruments to play what note. The difference is the same as between speech recording and printed text.
The task of converting waveform to MIDI is not just conversion, this is a complicated recognition process that requires sophisticated algorithms.
Nowadays it can't be solved perfect, however there are several projects aims to develop such product.
I advise you to look at this one:

You could convert the wav file to mmf with yamaha mmf converter and then convert to midi with psmp 5.0. Dont know what it would sound like as im an MP3 guy lol.

Ok results from 2 different Wav files-> converted to MMF where It wouild play with PsmPlay 5.0. Then I tried converting straight to MIDI but when I opened up the MIDI file didnt play anything absolute silence also tried changing to 40 chord poly and converting same thing. Not sure if a working conversion is possible.

i can convert the .wave to .mmf with yamaha converter, and then just rename to .mid and it works perfect on my phone but sounds horrible
im still waiting on my answer whether the v265 will play mp3s and why the .mp3 rename to .mid wont work anymore
