Can someone please tell me what the difference is in saving a phone number to my cell using "phone" or "sim." Any help would be appreciated. Barb

Saving to phone saves the number to your phone memory, saving to sim saves it to sim memory. Saving to the phone on most motorola phones is the only way to assign caller id pictures and ringers, Saving to the sim is good incase your phone malfunctions aleast you have your contacts backed up for transfer to another phone.

Not in all cases. It all depends on the type of phone you have.

I am changing phones and have saved phone numbers to both my phone and my SIM card. Is there an easy way to move all of my phone numbers from the old phone (stored on the phone) to the new phone. Seems like I had this happen once before and a clerk at the store hit a few keys on my Motorola and stored all the phone numbers on the SIM. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks
