Hi All,

I Have been trying to locate Easy GPRS software with out success, i found Samsung Photo Studio is available for my SAMSUNG D410 model. but i need Easy GPRS software. can you please anybody give me URL.

Any particular reason why you have to use EasyGPRS since function-wise, the latest SGH-D410 PC Studio PIMS (ver.1.0) are just as good as EasyGPRS in my opinion. I doubt if you can get EasyGPRS anymore from Samsung. If you like to try the PIMS, check the following link:

I got the software downloaded. I connected my phone to serial port using the SAMSSUNG supplied cable, when i open software it is giving the following error. and all the phone optins are not enabled.

"cannot open port and this program is switched in offline mode. After, try to switch in online."

my OS is Win 2k pro, Service Pack 4. i have seen in search that i need to apply IRDA patch, but the link what i got in Google search is out of date doesnt containes any downlods.

Can u please advise me what to do? what causing the problem.

If you are using Samsung supplied cable, you can just contact Samsung technical support for more help. By the way, did the cable come with software (in CD)?

FYI, the IrDA patch is just for IrDA and it is not needed for cable.

Since PIMS' default setting for Ports is COM1, if it so happened that you connected the cable to COM2, you have to change Ports in setup accordingly.

I have a samsung x427m cell phone and i have been looking for a way to download the Easy GPRS software or something like it to work with my data cable....any one who can help feel free to email me at drummerboy0088@aol.com or reply.......thanks
