hey all,
since no1 could help me with that cable, i went to the store and changed it, it is fot e630 but another type,and i have again the same problem   I am connecting it to the port 4 and the gprs samsung is on the port 1,
and in the device manager it is saying Profilic USB-to-Serial Com port(it is working properly)Is this the problem or what, i really cant understand what is hjappening, im running crazy, (note: the phone now is not giving a charching alarm when i am connecting it)
Can sum1 plz plz tell me what to do, how do i switch it in online mode, how can i get those damn photos on the computer? I really would thank you for trying to help !

how do you get the fotos from your fone 2 your computer any help would be much aprechiated (sorry for the spelling) x

Make sure you got the right cable. For serial OEM cable, it should be PCB133NSEC/STD. For USB type, compatible models to E630 are:
D488 / E100 / E330 / E700 / E708 / E800 / E808 / E820 / S500-S508 / X100-X108 / X460 / X490 / X600-X608 / X640 / E630
By the way, it seems that you are still very confused by the COM port. Am I right that you saw COM4 in Prolific USB-to-Serial (COM4)? You also mentioned that gprs samsung is using port 1. Are you using EasyGPRS? When you select File - Setup, do you see it using COM1? Can you select COM4 in File - setup? You have to setup EasyGPRS / PIMS to use the same COM port that is assigned to the cable in Prolific USB-to-Serial as found in Device Manager. If setup is correct and it still doesn't work, may be the cable is not compatible.

Hi everyone, new here, i'm having a problem with my Samsung SGH-D500 data cable as i lost the software, so thankfully i got it back from the internet. But it won't let me connect to the phone, it just stays offline all the time. Please give some help. Oh and yes i have downloaded the USB Drivers for the cable. Bye

hey im dieing for helpp !
ive got a smg-z400 n it wont connect to the samsung pc studio.I installed the driver 1st then the studio but it says my phones not connected evrytime when it is! when i connect my phone(by usb btw) it charges and thats it  HELPP PLZ iim dieink to put these piiks on the comp oh yer n ive tried uninstalling it and doing it again but that wont work either ! anyoneee ?

i have a samsung d600 and i have had it since october. my p.c studio has been working all this time but all of a sudden, this past month. when i connect it, it says not connected. but it gives the alarm tone to notify its connected. has any1 had this problem before? please let me know how to fix it!

when i try to load my pc studios a pop up comes up sayin "please exit samsung contacts copier and try again" what does this mean?

I Have a samsung e370 mobile and a usb cable and i have installed pc studio PIM * manager 2.0 i can put pictures from my phone onto my computer but i cant put music from my computer onto my phone. . can anyone help ?
