I have the SGH-d807x, and I have and installed the Samsung PC studio 3, and it worked fine when I first installed it, I could do anything, put anything on the phone, take anything off the phone, but when i went to connect it after disconnecting it, when ever I try to send something to the phone it freezes, and when i shut it down with Task manager, a pop-up comes up and says "failed to communicate with the connection manager" and then "connection manager can not be found. Try to install the program again."
Thing is, I've installed the program 3 times, and every time it works, but as soon as I'm done, and then go back to it a few minutes/hours/days later wanting to do something else with it, it doesn't work. Yet when I click on connect and it asks me which way to connect and I say usb, it says the phone is connected. Is there a way to fix this or am I forever going to be reinstalling it every time i want to use it?

hi
im new to this forum i was had the same problem with my d500 trying to get it to work useing a data cable and today i got it to work,
the first thing i did was download Samsung PC Studio USB Driver (ver.2.0)
then a Samsung PC Studio PC Sync (ver.2.0) with this sync enable all the coms on it as my usb was showing com 14,
then i downloaded SGH-D500 Samsung PC Studio PIMS (ver.2.0)
when its installed the pims will say not connected click file top left then click set
if it says com(usb ?) just change the speed fo 57600
then ok if it still shows not connected close the pc sync and this should connect your phone,,

That is, if your problem is that you cannot make your PIM & File Manager 2.0 go online and thus let you access your phone to transfer videos, images, etc. I don't know if this will work for everyone, but it worked for me and after hours of contemplating suicide I just HAD to share my method to help!
If you have any other PC studio software installed in your computer, make sure that they ARE NOT on, if they are exit every single one!
Plug your phone in via USB (this is my method, I don't have any bluetooth connector(s)) and open PIM & File Manager 2.0 and it should work!
I figured this out because I constantly kept on trying to sync my pc with my mobile while trying to make PIM & File Manager 2.0 go online at the same time. I went into help for PC sync and eventually found this:
The phone does not allow you to edit the phone book or calendar while synchronising.
So I figured, HEY WHAT IF IT DOESN'T ALLOW FILE TRANSFERS EITHER AND I WAS RIGHT.
If this problem was already answered, please forgive me, I'm a little hysterical about my find and I'm only 16 so bear with me. I scanned this thread over and over all day today, now I can rest in peace.
See ya fellow mobile users ;D That'll be all from me!

Hi everyone. Im new to the community and asked whether someone could orient to the next problem.
A few days ago someone decided to steal my cell, it was a samsung sgh-x686, and I need to regain the contacts that I had backup on the hard drive of the computer.
But the software only works if the cell is connected.
I have a backup in esb format and not find ways to see it.
Anyone know how I can do?
Thanks very much and I apologize if my post fails in any standard of the community rules.
