Samsung PC Studio PIM & File Manager problem

hi im john and i hav installed samsung pc studio 3 onto my pc and i cant get it to connec to my samsung d600 through the usb lead, can you please help me!!! im confused now lol

where can I get usb cable driver for my samsung t509, I can't find it enywhere

I also cant get the PIMS to recognise my phone (samsung D410) as 'online'.
I have an aftermarket data cable which came with a driver, apparently suited to a T400.
I have installed the driver and can see it appear in the "ports" section of my computer's device manager, depending on what port it is connected to, the device manager displays COM1, or COM2 etc.
I checked my phone's model using a code i found in a post (something like *#1234#) and it came up as D418.
I downloaded both the PIMS for the D410 and the D418, set them to the correct COM port but still says 'offline'.
I assume it's either the wrong cable or the wrong PIMS version as there are many such as D410, D410MSA, D418, D418C, D418MSA, D416...
I will get a replacement cable, one specifically for the D410 and if it goes online i can say the offline problem is due to a mismatched cable.

Hi ppl, i'm here to ask a simple question... i have Samsung ZV10 and i cant use Message Manager on the pc studio. does anyone know's /have any other program that have this function!??!

I have an X495 and bought the Data Cable off Ebay as others have and I to have the same problems. PC Studio not picking up the phone on any COM port. My cable says SAM E700/E708 on it where it connects to the phone. I want to upload MP3s to my phone and only PC Studio can do it not EasyStudio, which BTW does recognize my phone. Go figure!

Is my cable the wrong one?? Is there any other program in which I can use to upload MP3s to my phone?

This has me stumped!!!!

The cable is compatible. Did you install the usb driver correctly? Check Device Manager. Under Ports (COM & LPT), check any line with usb-to-serial and you should find the COM that is assigned to the cable. Used that in PIMs setup. Make sure the speed is set at 115200 as well.

If you didn't find the line usb-to-serial but find line with "!" or "?" instead, that means the usb driver for the cable is not installed or not installed properly. Remove the line with "!" or "?" and reinstall the usb driver for the cable again.

I tried this on both my laptop and desktop to no avail. The driver is installed correctly. The USB to Serial is fine. No ? or !. I've tried different COM ports on both pc's. PC Studio PIMS 1.0 will not connect to my phone. I tried PC Studio 2 but that won't do anything either. The problem is with PC Studio 1.0, any suggestions?

Like I said Easy Studio does work. I've uploaded picts and mmf ringtones with no problem. I want to put MP3s on my phone and need PC Studio to do it. This is driving me crazy.

By the way, did you download the X495 PC Studio PIMs ver. 1 from the following link?
