I used the one that came on the CD I got with the cable. Do U think that might be the problem? I am going to install the downloaded version and give that a shot. Let U know the results.

js 1662,
I downloaded and installed the modem. However I don't know how to set it up. I have T-mobile and it asks for an APN name and other things. I am a tech teacher and this one has me going loopy. Thanks for any help.

Hi Masstechteach,
As long as the Samsung GPRS modem is installed, it should be fine. Make sure it is installed properly by going to Control Panel - Phone and Modem Options. Check Modems and see if Samsung GPRS modem is there or not (make sure your phoen is connected to the PC). You don't have to set it up unless you really want to use your cellphone as a PC modem to connect your PC to the internet. By the way, does PIMS works now after installing Samsung GPRS modem?

js 1662,
This not working for some reason. I updated to the latest PC Studio version 1.0.1.0EI2. The modem is visible in the Phone/Modem in the control panel. Do the modem and PC Studio have to be on the same COM Port?? This is driving me nuts. I figured since I'm a tech teacher I should have no problem. WRONG!!!!
Can U think of anything else I can do?? I am using a USB 2.0 to connect to the phone and PC / XP Pro
I really appreciate all the advice U have given me. But why won't it work???!!!! ARRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!
Just had let off a little steam.

Yes, you are right about the COM port. Actually, if you have not changed the usb port that the cable is connected. The COM port should be the same one you used for Easy Studio. Do you have another PC which you can try?
