Also, I've been trying to find easygprs, but on the samsung website I cannot find it. All i can find in downloadsis this http://www.samsung.com/download/Model_Select.aspx?type=Mobile%20Phone& typecode=18&subtype=Mobile%20Phone&subtypecode=1805&model=SGH-X427&fil eType=SW. is this right? if so, do i have to download all of them or can i just download the first(i just want ringtones)?

You can try the Prolific drivers which you can download from the following link:
http://tech.prolific.com.tw/visitor/v_filebrw_result.asp
If you are using xp, download the file wd-pl-2303h_hx_x_v20026.zip
PL-2303 USB to Serial Certified Logo Driver for Windows XP
As for the software from Samsung, you need the PIMS, the actual link program. The Image Editor if you want to modify pictures, and Sample which has lot of sample ringtones and pictures. The remaining Internet one is only needed if you want to use your phone as dial up modem for connecting your PC or notebook to the internet if you are still using dial up instead of broadband.

Thanks for the help! Does anyone know where I can get the PIMS thing for free (or any other program for downloading ringtones)?

ramune,
Don't you realize that the link that you mentioned in your first post is the correct link for the latest software from Samsung for X427? Although it displays the manuals when you open the web page, just click on software and you will find all the software that you need. I thought you knew about that as you asked if you have to download all of them or just the first one.

On Samsung D500 if you want to automatically set your country`s settings for GPRS, all you have to do is punch *2767* then country code then 927#, so in USA, for Tmobile, you would punch *2767*1927# For UK you punch *2767*44927# and so on. Hope this helps
