I just bought a data cable +charger for my phone and it came with drivers and everything I just can't get it to work. I un-installed all the drivers and installed them one by one and everything, still doesn't work. And I have Win XP Pro. And windows says that nothing is connected... I think I may just need some drivers.

I tried the vx3300 first and I absolutily could not get xp pro to even recognize it. I plugged a vx8100 into the same connection and it instantly connected. I have seen some specs where the data connection is not available on the vx3300.
I'm using bitpm with verizon USB drivers.
I don't think the vx330 is data sync capable. Somebody correct me if you know otherwise.

It's sad to see that this last message is from July 2006 and I have the same problem with no solution in October 2006 ...

The VX3200 needs a cable with the Prolific Serial-to-USB converter (the same cable that the old VX10 used. Just because the pins line up and are compatible with the VX3200 doesn't mean that the cable will work. My mom had the VX3200, and we struggled for a bit to resolve this issue, and then I figured this out. The reason for this is that the VX3200 doesn't have native USB support, and instead uses a serial connection for the data port. I hope this helps.
