thats just the way it works. You can set the time for it to stay on, but only up to 30 seconds. Just does it for a battery saving purposes

i WISH my screen went off during charging mode! thats so annoying when trying to sleep, press one of the side buttons and it lights right up

i really don't know, i guess i thought i might miss a call if the speaker was covered up, i guess im more worried about the screen going bad, being on all the time
