EasyGPRS won't work for A680 since it is a CDMA phone. EasyGPRS only support GSM phones and you need a S/W that support CDMA phones. Moreover, you need a driver for your cable first. Check with the cable supplier for the correct driver or try those from Datapilot or FutureDial. As for the S/W, there are a few options:
1. PCLink from Samsung, but it is hard to find the English version.
2. Bitpim from www.bitpim.org
3. Pay S/W like those from Datapilot, FutureDial and Mobileaction.

I found this article which you may find it very interesting:

Mind you, please be very careful when using the filesystem option of Bitpim.

If you read the article, the author mentioned that Bitpim doesn't support A660 so things like wallpaper and ringtones don't work but the author managed to use the File System feature of Bitpim and be able to see the files in the phone. You may try the same approach and see if it works for A680. Once you can open the file system, you will be able to access all the files including pictures, ringtones and may be even games.
Once again, be careful when working with files inside the phone
