I just purchased the 4.99 unlimited plan from tmobile, the question is does going on the browser count as making a phonecall??

The only way you'd see time used is if your phone (somehow) couldn't connect via GPRS and used CSD (Circuit Switched Data) to connect. The way you tell is that, if GPRS is being used, there's usually a GLOBE showing. If CSD, then A TELEPHONE ICON will show up. Watch for that Phone Icon! If it's a persistent problem then call T-Mobile Technical Support for assistance.

No, when you get on the internet your phone switches from voice signal (GSM) to a data signal (GPRS). You can not use voice services on gprs and u can not use the internet service on the gsm network with tmobile.

yea my phone is the v635 :] doesnt show the phone icon, only the icon that shows data transfer but no phone icon, so i guess im in the clear?

It happens, billing issue, shows up on call logs and customers bill as a webcall, will show up in the call log as a mobile to mobile type call, but will be billed regular airtime whether you have the unlimited mobile to mobile feature or not.

No its doesnt count as making a phone call, make sure when you connect it doesnt have a phone symbol at the bottom (doesnt happen often)

When I am on T-Zones at the top of the screen it shows the phone icon and when i am through and i exit it it says (Connection Time and then the amount of minutes I was on T-Zones). So is this using my minutes,
How Can I Make It Go Through Gprs? Or what should i do? Thanks

Go on www.tmobile.com go to your current usage and see if you got billed for it (will appear as a webcall) like posted above if problem persist contact technical services.a
