Is there anyway possible to install skins through BT and not a datacable? I found the skins i want but i cant figure out how to install them.

Oh man! If you found skins for the v551, can you tell me where????? I've been lookin with NO avail. I have the ability to install them, just no where to find them! Please let me know the site(s) you get them from, I will be ever so grateful.

Just google "motorola skins", or themes.
http://gallery.mobile9.com/c/motorola-skins/1/ is one that will be on the list.

Thanks. I SO need more skins...the stock ones are fine, but after a little while, one just needs change.

Wait I'm confused. You don't need a cable to install themes/skins, you can do it through bluetooth using Mobile phone tools?

I've seen posts elsewhere that says you can't install themes with BT or WAP. Not sure if that is really true (no BT) if MPT is used. Hopefully someone else can confirm.

We have both the v551 and a v3...the skins interchange on both and so do the downloaded ones fro the mobile9.com web page....but it's ALWAYS a good idea to backup your cell phone completely (copy the directories completely so that you can have a backup in case ANY wrong-doing is done). DO NOT skip that step.

when you backup the files do you save them on a computer? if so how can i do this?
