I have a Nokia 6230i and I have recently bought a PQI 512MB MMC Memory Card. I used bluetooth to send some mp3's from my computer to the phone but when I tried to play them music kept skipping. I uploaded some mp3's to my in-built phone memory card and they worked fine, it is just when an mp3 is put in the memory card that it does not play including when it is moved to it. I uploaded an mp3 to my in-built memory card and it worked fine, i moved it to the memory card and the music kept skipping so i moved it back to the in-built memory card and it was still skipping. So there must be something wrong with the memory card, does anyone know what the problem might be?

Same happened To my Nokia 6630 the mp3's , video's were very jumpy i took it back to the shop they said theres something wrong with the memory cardso they changed it for me ... so i would do the same

lots of people using nokia 6230 or 6230i have had this issue. i think it is from the software. you need the new v.2.30 software on your nokia 6230i to fix the skipping.

everybody is looking for it. try your local nokia service centre, if time is not an issue. it will take about a month to get your phone back

i using Kingston 256MB MMC card, no problem so far, i suggest you bring along the phone to computer shop and try some of the MMC with different manufacturer, i dont know what brand we can get, as i know Kingston, pendrive, kingmax are fine, i wonder you can get it or not, download the software is easy, can be completed in 2 hours (in Malaysia). let try it......
