Okay... I installed the Chinese Driver a few pages back, which then let my comp recognize it. Then I installed the CA-42 hack driver. Now when I plug in my cable it says its recognized and the hardware is installed and ready to use. How do I get to the files though?

Hi, after 5-6 hours of frustrating hard work and rebooting, I finally came out with a solution. Here is a simple procedure because those posted in this thread can be very obscure for most people.
requirements : WinXP SP2, NOK cable CA-42, NOK CD (bought from ebay)
1) Uninstall all drivers by going in settings->system->hardware->devicemanager
select port where NOKIA USB CA-42 is installed and uninstall driver (delete)
Note : If you dont find anything, forget this step
2) Copy PCsuite and driver folders from NOK CD to a new folder (CA42 for example) on your hard drive. Copy autorun.inf, CA-42.exe and CA-42.ico found on NOK CD to this CA42 folder on your hard drive.
3) download new drivers from https://home.comcast.net/~rapidcycler/CA-42.rar
4) download driver hack from https://home.comcast.net/~rapidcycler/CA42hack.rar
this one fix the com port problems
5) replace NOK drivers in ca42/drivers/inf folder by the one found in CA-42.rar
6) Go in your folder CA42 and execute CA-42.exe. This will install PCsuite with the drivers included in the folder driver
7) unrar ca-42hack.rar and right click on the inf files. Install them. reboot
Nokia PC suite should autostart at WinXP startup. Plug in your USB cable. It should be autodetected. Plug in your phone.
9) Open Nokia PC Suite and in the configuration, choose the right communication port (mine was COM3)
10) voila

Here is a rapidshare link for a bundled version of PCSuite+Drivers+CA42hack for NOK cable CA-42.
http://rapidshare.de/files/37088940/CA42.zip.html
Unzip it to your hard drive
Delete all previous drivers for this cable and uninstall all previous version of pcsuite. Reboot and install from this bundle. Use CA-42.exe to start the executable. Install pcsuite
reboot
plug in your cable and your phone.
In Pcsuite, get connected by cable and select the right com port.
Tadam !!
This bundle only contains the english version.

I've found the driver that able to connect your CA-42 to the computer. It doesn't require any hack... =D It is
PL-2303 Driver Installer.exe and i have it for you guys to download. After installed you need to restart your computer. You also need pc suit installed in your computer. After the restart use pc suit and connect your phone by cable. When your it recognizes. Go to My Computer and find your phone ^_^ Need help ? Email me krzvi3tboi@yahoo.com
