I am trying to get my ca42 cable to work as well. can someone send me the driver or something to help me to my e-mail address? Studur will you send me the ca42 zip to my e-mail? i have dial up and cannot download it. I would appreciate it. email is fishamaniac@msn.com

Sorry, I erased the files from my computer at work but I will try to recover it from a previous backup. Once I get it I will upload it again.
If it works, tell me so I will know how universal this procedure is.
Follow my instructions about how to use these hacked drivers with the PCSuite found on your NOK CD.
PS.: Several people tried to install PCSuite downloaded from the NOKIA website. DON'T try this. The version of PCSuite on the NOK CD is THE ONLY ONE that works with the hacked drivers.

Studur the link wasnt working. When i clicked on it to open or save it it said to choose a program to open it with. None of them worked. Any help is appreciated.

I uploaded the CA-42 archive again which contains CA-42 drivers and PCSuite. Unzip and click ca42.exe Use the English Pcsuite only.

However, if you have your NOK CD, just copy the whole thing on your hard-drive and replace the drivers in the driver folder with the one found at :
which should not be too long to download via dial-up.
Then install the software using ca42.exe

Hi there
I have recently bought a CA-42 cable from ebay and have experienced problems (like the rest of the world by the look of it!).
I have downloaded the large zip file with all the various components in, but I am unsure which file to open first to start up the installation process. When I open either of the application files in the Driver folder it says "cannot open uninstaller file". I can't seem to find an actual installer file.
Also, do I install your CA42 driver and not the driver I received on CD with the cable?
