Well the first drop from 5 feet onto concrete did nothing to my v3, nor did the second drop. I really need to get a clip for the phone lol. Laying in bed sleeping today my gf left a large glass on my head rest, well at 6 am i rolled over and must have knocked it off, very rude awakening after going to sleep at 3. Well thats just my luck my phone happend to be under that glass of water, it started freaking out beeping screens flashing, im thinking this is the end of my new phone. Take the battery off put the phone up in the window sill so the sun can dry it out. 3 hours later i wake up, put my bat and sim back in the phone and bam, works great. Gotta love the indestructable V3. There is no real question in here but i thought ide tell my story cause i thought it was pretty funny.

First time I dropped mine, the front screen shattered into a thousand different pieces. The glass screens are definately not indestructible.

I don't even want to think about the first time I drop my V3. It turns my stomach. Looks like you ended up with the armor-plated V3.

I know of several people that have came into our store with it broke in half(not ran over just dropped), Broken LCD screens, major dents and dings in the metal or so they say metal cover. I dont know but for what you pay for it I would think that it would feel somewhat more sturdy that it does. I like the look and feel of my V505, I have dropped it and kicked its like the timex commercial. But It could be that you have one that wasnt built on friday at 5pm. Otherwise im new to the forums but not to the cellular industry, been in the business going on 6 years. Looks to be very informative.

hmm first thing that happened to me was when I wanted to change sim cards. The stupid backing wouldn't come off. I was standing up pulling on it real hard. It came off but went flying across the room and the little plastic and metal thingy glued on the inside of the backing flew off. Doesn't even need to be glued back thankfully.
When I drive I used to always have the phone next to my crotch on the seat cause it vibrates haha.....no cause I hate reaching in my pockets to grab when driving. Well 2 times now including today at the gas station, i go to step out of my truck and it goes flying on to the rough concrete. Still works and only smaller minor scratches both times.
Have yet to get it wet.

Had the same problem as brownstonemr the plastic on the inside of the bat cover is breaking off one side, lil super glue fixed that tho. My v3 is covered in scratches still have no prob, once in a while when i open the phone to answer a call the screen goes white for like half a sec but thats fine with me.
