I have a motorola v265 and I dont know how to open anything i recieve in my text messages. Ive been tryin to recieve mp3s and i tried sending my phone a jpg and in the message i can see where it says {file.jpg or mp3} but i dont know how to open it or anything.

If the file was sent with the message, usually when opening the message if its music, it will play, if its an image it will appear in the body of the message. There is no real "open" so to say. It should have multimedia messaging though, if not then that must be a compatibility issue with the phone or service.

it will work if i recieve it from another phone but if i recieve it through email it wont!!!

Yes xXxSamsungxXx quit telling V265 people that because it is not true. Many people have mp3 ring tones on 265s and even on 260's so quit shooting peoples hopes down because it can be done. All you are doing is reading a tech sheet on the phone, not actually using the phone.
