Anyone had any troubles w/ the length of video recording on the v551? I'm only getting about 5 seconds before it cuts out. Other users have used up to 30 seconds and want to go longer. The Motorola folks told me it would only do 15 seconds and that I would need to take it for servicing because it apparently wasn't working properly. I have plenty of memory available.

You can make video recording longer on V3 through seem editting but have not tested on V551 as I dont have that model. If you want to test it try SEEM 0032_0001 offset 6E bit 3 [Check]

Open up the video camera, Hit menu key>Videos Setup>Video Length: Right now its set at MMS and thats 15 seconds, set it to Maximum which is 30 seconds. I hope thats what you were looking for, otherwise you can try the seem edit samsung provided for you.

If mine works on the V551 it should be for unlimited/until memory runs out. If you want to try on your V551 Veilfore let me know, It works on V3.

yes, I just purchased that phone yesterday, and tried using the video last night. the same thing would happen to me, it would cut out after only a few seconds. I found that it did that when i moved the phone sgnificantly while i was filming, but didn't happen as frequently if i was videoing something stationary.
