This probably isn't a big deal, but I'm just curious as to what the icon is to the right of the antenna icon. Everyone else's Motorola displays it except for my phone, I'm sure its nothing too important but it's just bothering me.

That simply means you have the internet on your phone. If its not there the internet is not accessable. Maybe signal is low or something usually its signal.

you need to sign up for media net from cingular to have it enabled.

That's weird. I got the family plan and the other 3 phones have it, but not mine. No one has the internet on theres either.

Well, if it has that icon it has to have internet. Maybe where you had the phone it wasn't in good signal. And overview your plan and see if your paying for GPRS.

You do not neccesarily have to sign up for media net. I don't and I have the gprs icon and can connect to the internet. I am billed on a pay per use basis.
