Has anyone else with a T720 had a problem accessing messages or their phone book?

Every time I try to access either I get a please wait screen and it stays there. Worried that I bought a ruined phone.

thanks

Is your MPT updated and is the driver installed? Fully updated MPT is v3.25b and driver is from the directory (C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST)

Let me explain a little more. I decided I wanted a new phone, I purchased said phone on eBay. I put my SIM card and when it goes to access the phonebook it says, please wait, forever and ever (okay not really but you get the idea). It does that with the phone book, the personalize menu, receieved calls, and the datebook.

I don't have a data cable so I'm betting that I haven't done what you said up there. icon_smile.gif

me thinks either the phone cannot read the sim card...or the sim card is pooched....

a simple test... if you know someone who has the same service provider as you ... put your sim card in their phone...if everything is fine... its the phone you got from ebay... if the problem stays... its the simcard and that will have to be replaced

It works in ny other cell but I also noticed something else. Where the digital/analog icon is on the screen, it has an icon not listed in the manual.

Not sure if is a clue.
