i just got a V265 today and ive been trying to turn my recordings into my ringtones but it only gives me the options to use the ones they give me.... and those really suck... can u guys help me with how to turn recordings into ringtones?

If by your recordings you mean your voicerecords on the phone you cannot assign them as ring tones.

well... is there any way to send actual songs onto my cell phone... like turning MP3s into midi files or something?

Don't know the spec but i would think your fone suport mp3 so use Mobile Phone Tool , Multi media center and go to melodies studio and use that to rip your CD and cut it down to 25 sec and load it in your fone that is the simplest way

V265 doesnt support MP3 format, you can load midi files though.

so how do i change mp3s into midi files, how do i cut down the length, and how do i send it to my phone.... im really new at this i used to have one of the really extremely old nokia phones that were durable as a humvee...

1. You Simply change the extension from .mp3 to .mid with your keyboard
2. You can cut down the length in many applications (Itunes is what I use its free also switch to mono and change the quality; Read the topic at the bottom of this page for more info on that)
3. Either by emailing it to your phone or by Data Cable and Software ($30.00)


Im waiting on my data cable from www.Cell-phone-accessories.com to do this. But those are the instructions for more information go to this topic in this same forum.

I don't think it's that simple. You can't just change the extention to .midi using key board, because if that simple no one will buy convertor software to convert they wav to mp3..ect

sounds like crap right?? Believe that there is no conversion software for MP3 to mid.
