I just bought a bluetooth dongle so that I can transfer MP3s to my phone,so that I can put one as my ringtone.
The phone is recognising the bluetooth, and connecting, and letting me see what files are on the computer I'm using. However, when I try to use the file sending part, the progress remains at 00% and disconnects after about 10 seconds.I can't get a connection for the file sending, even though they are clearly connected.
Any help?

does your phone detect your pc?
If it does try enabling file sharing on the file where your mp3 are stored and download that way,
In your dongle, are the any settings you can alter like device properties, accept bonding should be on.
When you connect does your phone ask if you want to share?

It does.
I get the progress indicator, which stays at 0% before disconnecting. The icon for bluetooth BlueSoleil goes green and indicates that the file transfer is in progress, but it just disconnects.

Have you looked at any settings in "my services / properties / file transfer" what have you got in the share this folder box?
