hi,
serious help needed. i tried using the mmcstore file but to my surprise it was not there.
what else can i do to salvage data on my mem card or just to format it.
please all the wise ones no "throw it comments"

Hi friend first of all remove memory card password from your's friend's mobile then try on you mobile the card is work as well as he work's on your friend's mobile.

hi please help me in unlockin my mmc actually my problem is i have 6600 and usin 512mb card and was creatin name for the memory card at that time i had a incomin message thats when my mmc was locked and i am not able to use my mmc and the files and application if i insert the mmc its askin for the password which i dint set any please help me do i have any solution!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I solve the problem myself. This may probably help you.
i miss my 6600 it was my first cell till it got stolen and i unlocked it so tmo or cing could use it haha and i never had prob with them mem i just used a mem card reader and all haha

My post is lost. No idea why, but here is the way. Find a Nokia 9300, 9300i or 9500. Try to format the card by one of these models. It will start, but it could be interupted. If it is, use a card reader to format after the interuption. Your card will be working now. The reason is probably these models of Nokia comunicators ignore passwords to format MMCs. Have a fun!
