I replaced the entire shell on my S307 and after power up I am unable to input my password. The keypad will allow me to turn it on but does not respond to any other commands. I have taken it apart and reassembled it several times ... I can't see what I am missing. The both displays work and like I said the key pad will allow me to turn on the power, any suggestions would be greatly appericated!
I have use the SIM card in another phone ... it works fine. I have even used all of the old parts and the keypad still will not respond.

What have you changed besides the housing? You probably have demaged the phone. I am afraid you have to return it for repair.

Wow thanks js1662 for the helpful information … if you can’t offer a solution you should keep your comments to your self! I was asking because someone maybe aware of a key combination that may be required before it can be accessed.
FYI: I work with electrical components everyday, whether I’m replacing a capacitor on a circuit board or simply changing a case on a cell phone I am very meticulous about details ... thanks for your help!

I am not trying to question about your hardware expertise but I just don't get it. How a hardware change will result in a software or key combination to sort of reset the unit? Besides you have not disclosed what changes you have done to you phone. Anyway, I think I will keep my mouth shut in this thread from now on.
