I have the same problem. My phone is locked to Vodafone. I had already unlocked it once using the codes and have since then been using my orange sim card. However i tried to enter a different sim card on which i had a password, the message : enter password came up, i tried to enter the password and it did not work (the password i entered was the correct one), i tried to put back my orange sim card and it still asks for a password: ENTER PASSWORD. anybody knows the answer to this?please!

if i remember well i think it was these directions that i used: "it's very simple actually first press *#06# to show your imei nr. write this down. Now put in the simcard for which you would like the phone to unlock. Now when it gave the sim error type *2767*688 followed by your imei number. The screen will go grey, doesnt matter just wait for a moment, now the phone will reset. and it's unlocked! "
now when it comes up with the message 'Enter Password' it does not allow me to press any of the * or hash

I guess when the message 'Enter Password' comes up, the phone is expecting only digits 0-9.
