Is it a serial cable? Did you success in installing the Samsung modem? If yes, what COM port is it using for Samsung modem?

its a Samsung USB Data Cable whit some cd including a usb drivers for the cable . i think i install the modem well :
==============
in 'device manager' under 'modems' you don't 'samsung gprs modem'
if so, then go to 'control panel' >
'add hardware' >
click 'next' >
wait for scan to finish, select 'yes' and click 'next' >
scan to the bottom, select 'add a new hardware device' and click 'next' >
select 'instal the hardware...' and click 'next' >
select 'modems' and click 'next' >
check 'don't detect my modem....' and click 'next' >
select 'samsung' under 'manufacturer' and 'samsung gprs modem' under 'models' and click 'next' >
select 'all ports' and click 'next'

===========
then i install the easy gprs and i tried 6-7 times whit com1 & com2
still gave me : modem is not responding

Do you recall the 1st time you plug in the usb cable to your PC, did it detect any new hardware? Do you recall you installed the driver for the cable? When you go to device manager, what is under Ports (COM & LPT)?
