Are there any hidden menus on the samsung e315? with my past experiences with t-mobile's phones, the phones don't have settings you can change like for the wap settings and other advanced settings! Is there any key sequences or anything that can get me into hidden settings and/or menus? i know there is one that starts with *#9998..... that changes the L.E.D. color but that doesn't do much for me as far as changing wap settings and such! Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

That LED code is *#9998*533#. After you enter it it will say please press exit, so press it once, then it will still say it but push the down key and there will be a list to select from! never use the #0111*00000000# code! that will lock out your phone permanently unless you reflash the phone!
Best of luck!

Cool, I didn't know that one... What exactly does it do though? I'm going to try it anyway though, hopefully it won't kill my phone.
I thought T-Mo Samsung phones all had the *#VSWAP* (*#87927*) code to access hidden WAP settings.

I tried that *#87927* code and it did nothing on my phone it just said emergency calls only and it only said that because my phone is still locked out from using *0111*00000000# on it! I wish i had never looked for a way to unlock my phone now! I have read that reflashing it will fix it but I purchased a cable on ebay and used optiflash to flash it with a copy of the flash from an identical e315 and it still says "phone locked return for servicing". I have read that changing the IMEI will fix it but i cannont seem to find an imei changer that works with the e315 model. and i have tried many different codes that will restart the phone and when it comes up it just says the same ol' thing! Im affraid that tmoble will try to charge me to get another phone! this one is only 2 months old and i am broke now! Any Ideas? Anyone?

I called tmobile and got them to do a waranty exchange! so its not costing me anything to exchange! the phone was only 2 months old and i think the waranty last for 90 days! So its all good! Im never using that code again though! Gosh what a mess!

warranty is for 1 year, if they can determine that you were the reason the phone got locked up (prob wont be able to though) then they can charge you the OOW fee.

i told them that my girlfriends little brother told me he wanted to play games on my phone so i let him run off with my phone and he brought it back to me messed up! I told them the phone said "phone locked return for service" and they put me on hold and came back and said that they could do the waranty exchange!
