I need help. And I dont mean help in getting video to work. I think I have absolutely damaged my V3. I ran a flash upgrade using the PST Multiflashflex tool, got the upgrade over at motox. It ran succesfully but the phone would not properly restart after the upgrade.
The phone will go into its greeting and then the home screen will come up without a picture. The bluetooth icon is there as is the name for the local GSM co.
Then the screen goes blank and after a couple of seconds all I get is the home screen again.
I would really appreciate any suggestions. Also, take this as an example of things going wrong even when the PST Software said the update was succesful.

I did not update my flex file, dont know if thats the problem. Please, any help will be greatly appreciated. This search for a video option has turned into quiite the nightmare.
Have you upgrade you boot loader to 8.32? if not that is your problem , so flash it with the bootloader file and it will fix that

Well! Having trouble making my Razr video record! Go figure..
Here's what I've done:
Flashed my phone to R374_G_0E.40.98R
Havent touched Flex at all.
As written by xXxSamsungxXx,
SEEM 0032_0001 offset 70 bit 6 (1 on, 0 off)
SEEM 004a_0001 offset 1D3 (01) - no bit manipulation with this SEEM. Just change the offset value to 01.
Did these two edits, loaded them into phone via P2kman.
Restarted Phone.
Created the "VideoCamera" option using P2Kmenueditor.
Saved to phone, restarted phone.
Final results? There is no Video Camera icon. There is no space for said Video Camera Icon. What have I done wrong?
I've checked over my work multiple times. What am I missing? Any feedback would be highly appreciated.
Quick note: It wouldn't have anything to do with the flex version I so conveniently havent touched?

Samsung, all of the help with SEEMS is great, I just DL'd the .rar file you posted. However, I - and i'm sure other newbs - would GREATLY appreciate it if you made a step-by-step "for dummies" guide to using the programs necessary to update my razr.
Figures, I don't have a RAZR and I'm the guy that does step by step guides, but if sam is willing to make it im willing to add it to the site how bout it sam? You up to the challenge?

Alright if your a complete newb and dont want to tackle the seem editing yourself (rather upload the prehacked files) then I will created a basic guide for uploading the files as per Mobiledia Members Request. Keep in mind editing/modifying your phone in anyway is your choice and I will not be held responsible for any damage YOU do to YOUR phone.
Part 1 (What you Need to get)
-buy data cable
-download p2kman (you will also need either MPT or PST drivers for p2kman to recognize your phone, no posts about why p2kman wont recongize your phone in this thread, rather you should start a new thread).
-download V3 Video.rar I put together
-Check Firmware on your phone and make sure it is 90R or newer and has boot loader 8.23 or newer. I recommend R374_G_0E.41.C3R which has the 8.26 boot loader. To check firmware press *#9999# or menu>settings>phone status>other information>S/W Version.
Part 2 (Making Backups)
-Open p2kman
-Above the Download seems button in the FROM box type 0032 & in the TO box also type 0032.
-Click download and save the file to a location but do NOT rename it, just leave as xxxx_yyyy
-Above the Download seems button in the FROM box type 004a & in the TO box also type 004a.
-Click download and save the file to a location but do NOT rename it, just leave as xxxx_yyyy
-Click on update list button
-find directory /a/mobile/system
-highlight file mma_ucp and press phone to pc button, save the file in the same location as you two backup seems
-highlight file mma_dcp and press phone to pc button, save the file in the same location as you two backup seems
Part 3 (Uploading New Seems)
-Extract V3 Video.rar
-Open P2kman
-Have phone on, sim in and connect to computer with cable
-Above the upload seems button, in the box labelled SEEM type 0032. In the box labelled REC type 0001.
-Click on the upload seem button and locate seem 0032_0001 in the V3 Video file.
-Wait till p2kman says ok
-Above the upload seems button, in the box labelled SEEM type 004a. In the box labelled REC type 0001.
-Click on the upload seem button and locate seem 004a_0001 in the V3 Video file.
-Wait till p2kman says ok
Part 4 (Uploading New Menu Files)
-Click on update list button
-Open directory /a/mobile/system
-Locate mma_ucp, hightlight by single clicking on the file and then click on pc to phone
-Locate mma_ucp in the V3 Video folder and click open.
-Click on the update list (this step is prob not necessary but doesnt harm anything)
-Again go back to directory /a/mobile/system
-Locate mma_dcp, hightlight by single clicking on the file and then click on pc to phone
-Locate mma_dcp in the V3 Video folder and click open.
-Click on the update list (this step is prob not necessary but doesnt harm anything)
-When list is done updating click on the restart phone button, when p2kman says phone is disconnected remove data cable.
-When phone powers up again Video should be enabled.
Sorry If this is alittle thrown together but its all I had time for right now, hopefully I will have time to fix it up a bit soon, I will also try to do up a walk through for people who want to do the editing themselves if I have time. If you want to learn more about seem editing and how you can do all the file editing yourself please visit http://xlr8.us/hofo

Nice job on the step by step xXxSamsungxXx. After having no success as an "advanced user" I followed your Newb guide.
Still no luck.
I'll tell you what did happen, my clock was set to Analog, my main menu was set to icon from list, and a Green Upwards triangle Icon has appeared in the top left next to my reception icon.
Still no go with the camera. I'll keep chipping away at it. Again any feedback would be highly appreciated.

I will have to fix the roaming triangle in the package. thanks for bringing that to my attention. I have ran into another person that is having a really hard time like you danj3ris. What flex are you using? I originally didnt think it the video capture was flex dependant but there is no reason why you and this person are having such a difficult time.
