Hello Everyone,
I had done the step by step to set up the video. Everythign was done properly and it looks fine to me.
My question is, Where in the menu is the function to record the video? do i go to multimedia -> MotoMixer-> new motomixer?
you have to hex edit your mma files to add the VideoCamera option into the menu. usually people replce the Motomixer with Videocamera.
If you use p2kmenueditor you dont have to replace anything.
P2KMenuEditor has been known to kill the Cingular MEdia net functionality. meaning the icons are there and the links are correct, but they don't do anything. this happened to me a few times before i figured out the problem, so now i just hex edit using xvi32. its very easy provided you know what you're doing
For other providers, i dont know, it might work fine.

I have a V3 Black on Orange.
I tried the V3 Video.rar to enable the video but had no joy so I flashed the phone with R374_G_0E.41.C3R_A_reflash using PST 6.7. I then found that the keypad would not respond and a friend sent me a keypad fix flex file. I uploaded that and all seemed to be fine except now my normal camera function will not work. The video camera has appeared as a shortcut on the main screen and also under the multimedia menu. However when multimedia menu is selected the Pictures and Camera selection do not work. When clicked it simply does nothing.
Any ideas?
Also many thanks to xXxSamsungxXx for the time and effort spent on this.

Just flash it again with Iceman Cingular Pack and that will get your video recorder going. Make sure you boot loader is 8.23 first

Do what fools says, and also before you go about loading up the video.rar make sure that you have bootload 8.23 or higher, no point in loading the seems if you have the old bootloader 8.10

A quick check shows my boot loader to be 07.E0. This is too old I take it from reading your posts. How do I go about upgrading the boot loader itself?

I've got a Usb cable to use with my phone and I've tried downloading drivers to use it with the RAZR v3, but I just can't seem to get it working. I want to use the cable to unlock the Video recording function on my phone or maybe upgrade it to the never flash version.
Does anyone have a program that I can use with the usb or the Mobile PhoneTools programs.
