Try to stay on topic, this thread is about video recording on V3, start another thread if you want to talk about that.
Ok people I have verifed today that the video record is definately firmware dependant. I have the V3 hacked seeems which I sent to a friend. He uploaded and it did nothing. Today we flashed his phone to a newer firmware, then uploaded the seems and it worked.

We used the new R374_G_0E.41.C3R_A_reflash. Worked great.

RXspeed & Peaches. First of all you can check what s/w version you have by pressing menu>settings>phone status>Other information> S/w verion. If it needs to be updated, the procedure for flashing V3 is same as Vxxx phones. Information about the procedure is available in the flashing and firmware section of this forum. If you do not need to do updated then you need to learn how to seem edit. http://xlr8.us/hofo

Double check your seem edits, make sure that you did edit on both 0032 and 004a.

Hi, looks like this isn't working on my phone
I've edited both 0032 and 004a, then uploaded to the phone, created the video camera on the multimedia menu but nothing happens, I mean one nameless icon shows up on the multimedia menu but it's not accessible.
(For doble checking purposes I've re-downloaded the 004a and 0032 and they did are edited).
My SW version is: R374_G_0E.40.64R.
I know this is a bit off topic but I'd like to know if I must uploade this SW version and if so how I should do it.
