it actually depends on the quality of the mp3 sometimes. cause some mp3s i have sounds good, the others, well, never mind.

What program setup do you have for it? What are you using to make the clips I mean, let me know and I can let you know if you should use an encoder as well.

I have a v3 and i was wondering if you knew if there was a minimum bitrate it could take. Becasue i keep getting file corrupt when i put an mp3 with less than 56kbps. thanks for any help in advance.

Well then that must be your answer, if anything lower than 56kbps won't work then thats probably the lowest the phone will accept. Besides the fact I've put some on at 32kbps before, CHEESY quality though. And it pops.

I have about 9 and my pull usually runs at: 112kbps, 16bit, 44100khz, and mono channel. Really nice and clear and almost all at 30 seconds.

The thing is that i don't use the songs for ringtones. The E398 has a really good mp3 player in it.
