hi, im wondering if the T630 and the T637 are the exact same phones but different colours. I see the T637 everywhere in stores but i have never seen the T630 in stores, only on the internet. I'm hoping someone can tell me if any cell phone stores have the T630 because i like the white cover better than the black. By the way, I'm from Canada.

The tri-band T630 operates on the 900/1800/1900 bands, while the T637 operates on the 850/1800/1900 bands. I'm assuming you're going with Rogers or Fido, which make use the 850 and 1900 bands, so you'll definitely wanna go with the T637.
If you really like the colour of the T630 though, you can buy the white faceplate and buttons on eBay to replace the black/grey ones of the T637.
Operationally though, stick with the T637. You'll get better reception and roaming.

I've bought lots of stuff on eBay. Literally tens of millions of people do. It's safe. Just buy from someone with a decent seller rating and you shouldn't get burned, although most are generally quite trustworthy, as they don't want to receive a bad rating from anyone dissatisfied with their purchase. You could also search around for a web-based store that sells accessories and stuff, if you're still hesitant to get into eBay.
A word of warning however: If you do plan on buying a different faceplate, you'll need a special small screwdriver (called a T-6 screwdriver) to disassemble your T637. If you look under the battery you'll see that the screws aren't your normal tiny phillips or slotted screws.
Honestly though, I'd just go with the T637 as is, then decide later if it's worth changing the look of it. Functionality is a lot more important than looks, and it's actually a nice looking phone right out of the box.

By the way if you purchased the sony ericsson T637 but you really like the White face plate that is on the T630 just go to ebay and search T637 original
and you can buy the original white faceplate for you sony ericsson t637!
