Even though the RAZR is now supported by t-mobile im still having problems, and the reps all do the same thing, and then decide to transfer me to another department everytime they cant figure it out until i get a voicemail, so im deciding to come here. i have a few problems that hopefully can be solved.
1) AIM Settings on the Motorola phone, i got the phone straight from motorola at mobilebee.com I think it came from Europe as the charger was european so it doesnt have cingular embeded software in it, but I cannot connect to it. What are the settings needed? I know the GPRS APN is wap.voicestream.com but what about username and password? the im server (right now set to aol.cwmim.com) the im port (right now set as 1171) the post URL and secure login settings? any idea?
also second problem
2) some of you might know that the RAZR is supposed to be supported for games through t-mobile (even they said that) but for some reason it doesn't allow me to download it and says im not supported when i try through tzones. i believe the source of this problem is also the reason my phone is not working with the motorola backup program, as i think its not being recognized as a tmobile phone? any ideas on this? cause the games on here SUCK!!!
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

1) Its a stickty in this forum so please look their first!
2) Because its not a T-Mobile branded V3 you may not be able to download games, try to config wap and then try to download.

sry about that,
i had tried to configure the WAP several times using the tmobile site where it sends it over the air, and it did not solve the problem, so the games won't download nor will mybackup work.

You have to set-up the browser using websessions, otherwise it won't work.

Use that site to input the settings here: (according to my phones navi:)
Menu>Settings>Web Sessions>Web Sessions>[New Entry] and configure as shown on that site. Select this new session as Default and surf.

You could try flashing with Tmo firmware, should prob fix issue, but cant guarentee it. But if your going to buy a cable to flash, it would be safer to just put your own premuim content on the phone with MPT.
