Hello!
I've read that there is a flash that will improve battery life on my v551. (R472_G_08.18.16R_0A) I recently got into modding my phone. I enabled network selection, made custom mp3 ring tones, uploaded/downloaded files. My questions are- If I flash my phone, do I HAVE to flex it? Will I lose all that I've done so far if I do flash or flex it? Is that the best flash to use?
Thanks a lot,
JW

Flashing won't change what you have done in fact some you may not even know the different but Flexing will ( flex is software remember?)
R472_G_08.18.40R is the best one i use it and like it combine with the right flex it' will improve picture taking and video, oh battery life is better to

Old Fool, would you happen to know exactly what type settings I would lose if I flex it also? I have tons of custom mp3s on there also. I guess I could use motokit to backup files. What flex do you like? I'm on Cingular in New York- I see that you're on ATT. Thanks much. JW

Ya Old_Fool, I'm starting to get curious with that flex seeing as I flashed mine and as you said, couldn't tell the difference. Incase I come accross another V551 soon then I wan't to have that flex on hand to use. And hopefully its locked to Cingular.

All these flex are unbranded and it's came from moto modder custom flex pick the one you like try it for a while then change to experiment the other then pick the one you like most and fit your style.
