In the File Setup, the drop down box that should show the ports does not contain any ports. Has anyone got a solution to this problem. I've seen it reported before but never yet seen a solution.

Are you using data cable? Have you install the usb driver for the cable? I saw posts that said they need to install the Samsung modem as well.

Sorry I am not familiar with this bluetooth thing. I saw posts that said you don't even need to use PIMS with bluetooth. After you have paired your phone with your PC using bluetotth, assuming you have activated bluetooth in your phone, you can transfer files between your PC and phone like accessing network. Do more search over the internet or wait for others advice. I am sure many other members here have used bluetooth with their D500.

By the way, if you don't see bluetooth in PIMS setup, it sounds like your phone is not yet paired probably with your PC.

Thanks for the reply. The reason I want to use PIMS is so that I can sync the calendar on my OUTLOOK with my organiser on my D500.

Iv seen on other forums and this one that there seems to be the same problem, im guessing 1000's I blame the phone companies. I am suffering from the same problem. The Modem when doing a search it doesnt come up with any modems, is it asking for the phone modem? if so how do I find out or is it asking for my PC modem, if so its a ErtherNet high speed connection. Secondly phone off line i go into file and set up and im prompted with this msg. Link to see picture

can anyone tell me why the port isnt highlighted and where am i suppsed to find this information on my PC. [/url]
