Dear All,
I've looked through some of the posts concerning problems getting PC Suite to see the phone using BlueSol(?) and other Bluetooth hardware, and i still haven't been able to solve my problem.
I'm using Windows Bluetooth, its listed as supported when i hit the Configure / Get Connected button, the PC sees the Phone, the phone sees the PC, but PC Suite can't / won't connect! Why?
I've read the manual(!), which kindy explains that some phones can't have DUN port working at the same time as the PC Suite Port (it doesn't say whether my particular phone suffers from this problem of course), and i've tried to de-acticate the DUN Port and i can't... so i can't figure out whether this is the cause of my problem either.
All suggestions appreciated!
Neil

Further to this i've played around some more, trying the IR port on my laptop... and this is also "found" by the connection wizard, but "refused" by PC suite.
Call me cynical but is this a ploy by Nokia to get me to buy the DKU-2 cable? it SHOULD work with bluetooth, shouldn't it?

Sweet!
I didn't think the BlueSoleil driver would work with my windows bluetooth, but it bloody well has. Had to play with the COM port and refresh the device list but then the connection kicked in without a hitch.
Cheers fella!

OK. I don't know what a BTDongle is (recognize BT . bluetooth) . but I have this same problem with:
CANNOT USE CONNECTION TYPE. CHECK THAT ALL THE NEEDED HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND DRIVERS ARE AVAILABLE (CODE. OPENMEDIA
I'm wondering if anyone who had this problem recently installed or updated Microsoft ActiveSync . i.e. have both MS and Nokia stuff. My problem started when I installed ActiveSync. I subsequently uninstalled ActiveSync, but the problem has not gone away . just some places now where the error messages are different.
Anyway. I've installed IVT BlueSoleil Driver but that hasn't solved the problem. Maybe partly because I have no idea how to use it. A set-up screen appeared . I don't know what to do with the BTDongle files that I downloaded either . or whether any of this is necessary to solve the problem. This looks like stuff I've never used before, and everything was working just fine before I installed ActiveSync.
Now no matter what I do in an attempt to solve the problem is blocked by another problem. The system is now very confused re: hardware and software although I have absolutely no reason to suspect that this very new machine has any hardware problems. Just Nokia PC Suite unable to make a bluetooth connection.

BTW: I have an E70. I doubt that makes a difference, but that's what I have.
