Greets,
I was wondering if I could get the manual IM settings for my v620, particularly AIM. I'm a direct dealer and thus far frustrated with the company I work for, having made it to "tier 3" tech. support with no luck. If anyone knows these I would love to have them.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. If no one knows the settings is the only to get AIM working to actually buy the USB device and hack the phone? And how much does said device cost?

Zoltar,
How can you be frustrated with the company you work for when it is not T-Mobile's fault we can't configure the IM on an unsuppported device. Are you selling this phone to customers?
If we are talking about the IM on the phone there must be a firmware upgrade done (contact motorola or find a forum that explains the steps needed to do a firmware upgrade) If we are talking about AIM through T-zones there is not much we can do.
If you are selling unsupported devices to customers I am hoping you tell them all the limitations they are going to experience with an unsupported device.

Just get the phone configured and then you can use AIM through Tmobile Web for $5.99 per month.

To get AIM working on the phone again through text with unsupported handset you must get a firmware update which is not as easy as it sounds. Contact manufacturer for that one. As for T-Zones you can get settings on the sticky at the top of this forum. Aim will be included in your tzones menu once your phone is configured. It is not guaranteed that the AIM will work. Many unsupported phones can't use AIM on T-Zones. Good luck.
