I have a Motorola V505 currently with Cingular and am switching to T Mobile. Anyone know the unlock code so I can use my phone with T Mobile? Please email if so.

Read sticky in T-Mobile forum, or you will need a smartclip/unlocker.
Basically: We do not know or have any tools that will provide you with what you seek. If you wish to find what you need you will need to either contact your service provider and see if they will give you the code, or contact a unlocking service, we cannot stress this enough when we say there is NO unlock codes floating around the web, if there is they will not work. Each unlock code is designated to its phones IMEI# very case sensitively. Otherwise you need as said a smart-clip to modify the firmware to release the lock.
Thank you for your time.

There are not new moto phones that will be unlocked by code, usually the only models that can be unlocked without a clip, data cable/software, unlocking service or service provider are older samsung phones and most nokia's.
The only moto models unlockable without clip or IMEI calc are the V180, V220, and the C650 I believe. As for the others your right, Samsung's have a few tricks such as Cerebros Unlocker, and Nokia have some IMEI calcs out there on the web. In my case with motos theres the T720 to T720i flash/flex which is unlocked. Other than that I can't think of anything else unlockable without the first 2 mentioned objects.
Service providers take business too seriously, huh?

T-Mo has the best unlocking policy in probably the world, but for the majority of providers they consider the codes sacred lol.
Kind of sad that the main thing these days is unlocking the phones and its either too hard or too expensive and people fall through. Customer service has really gone down in moddern society.
