Hello all,
I'm a newB to moto phones. I just got a v188. Can you change the faceplates on these guys or not. I wanted to check before I bought one.

Yes, motorola's website says that they are compatible to change faceplates, but my Cuz has that phone and can't find the faceplates for it anywhere. If you do find one though, wherever you buy it should put in on for you!

I live in Rhode Island and there's a booth right in the mall that sells faceplates for my v188. But you should just type in on google Motorola V188 faceplates and see what comes up

How exactly do you remove the front faceplate? I don't have a replacement for it yet but I'm just fiddling with it and don't want to break anything.

nevermind, I found a page that has (had?) instructions. Here's google's cache of it because the original isn't there.

ETA: the v188 only has 2 screws under the piece over the front scren and there's some gummy glue stuff that helps the little platic tabs hold it together. When replacing the screen over the LCD, put the top edge in first or it won't snap back together.
