some of these faceplates do not come off! i have uscellular and the "sticker" that all of you refer to well, mine isn't a sticker, it says US Cellular under the main screen but that is not a sticker its plastic, so I assume that it doesnt! but there are faceplates that say they just snap on no installation required, these are new though, my son has an Xcursion Kyocera and i got him one that just snaps onto his phone!
I hope that all of you know that when you buy a phone it has a 1 year manufacturer warranty, if you take off that faceplate and something is wrong with your phone they will not fix it or send you a new one after you remove that faceplate!
If you want to reply back just email me at colinsvillenaillady@yahoo.com Thanks

In order to remove the faceplate you must first open the phone and gently remove the small rectangular piece of plastic under the screen (I use an X-acto knife). Under this piece of plastic you while find a hidden screw. You must take out this screw...It is 6-sided so you will need a special screwdriver. Once this screw is out you can use a credit card or the X-acto knife to gently pry up the faceplate. Stick on the new one, replace the screw & the plastic covering, & you're done!

Hello evryone,
I have the Nokia 6255i cell phone. U.S. Cellular is my current carrier. I purchased a replacment antenna online after my puppy chewed the factory one up. I was just wondering if anyone was able to get their antenna out of the Nokia 6255i. I am beginning to think it is super glued in there. I got the phone apart no problem there (tip: remove the rubber external antenna gaurd to reveal the fourth screw). BTW the faceplate was way easier to replace than the antenna is proving to be. I have pulled on it with as much force as I can without cracking my plastic back of the phone and have all but givin up. I looked at the bottom of the new antenna to get an idea of what could be holding the "chewed" antenna down and there seems to be nothing that would do this. The bottom of the antenna is just flat, no grroves, and no places for screws. I would be interested in hearing if anyone else is having a similar problem.
Best,
Tim Matheson
