All I have to do is bribe the Admin to redo my post count.
Just kidding. Moderating 3 other boards is enough.

If the original poster ever comes back around, I'm a little surprised that a "a senior CSR for t-mobile" doesn't know that on their website Sony Ericsson provides OTA for their devices for most carriers, including Cingular.
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=us&lc=en&ver=4000&template=ps1& zone=ps&lm=ps1&pid=10136
Many other manufacturers have similar.
As a senior rep myself, I'd be pretty embarrassed to have to call care about something so trivial.

Hey, I am having a problem (Hmmm, kinda why this site is here, huh?). Anyway, I have a SE T637, Cingular, MediaNet with the 1mb plan. Up until a few days ago, I could use the bluetooth wireless connection and access email and the internet with my Palm Tungsten T3. Well, now I can't. Nor could I access medianet from the phone itself. I called Cingular and they couldn't help me. I found where I could get the settings sent to me from the SE website. Still can't access thru BT - the Palm connects to the phone, but I get an error message that says "GPRS parameters not supported." Any ideas, running out of options. Thanks.

that error message means the settings are not correct...
From the main menu go to Connect.
Select Data Comm.
Select Data accounts.
Select either AWSWAP or AWSDATA (perform the following steps on both selections).
Select Edit.
User will see the following:
NOTE: Fields should be blank, or set accordingly.
APN (can read proxy)
User id
Password
Password request (set to off)
Allow calls (set to automatic)
IP address
DNS address
Advanced settings:
Authentication (set to none)
Data compr. (set to off)
Header compr. (set to off)
Quality of serv.
Send the WAP settings configuration over the air.
Power cycle the device.
Try to connect again.
if that doesn't work, go here:
