Check this out I have a V205 & I switched from one batt to another as I have many times before. This time when I powered my phone on it said "Phone Locked Enter Password" I am NOT new to the wireless world so I entered 8 zeros & got the response "WRONG TRY AGAIN" so I tried every concievable passcode I could think of as a default.(by the way I NEVER changed it & the handset is new). I called the knowledgable reps at Samsung and he said that "maybe when you switched the battery it generated a random passcode". Talk to me guys/gals out there with your ideas or codes to try. I'm having it exchanged by T-Mobile but I have numbers, pics, 7 info that I want. Thanks in advance.

FYI the star code *2767*FULL# resets the phone and restores defualts. You will lose any phone book entries stored to phone, ringtones downloaded & any pics you had saved.

What does the PUK code stand for? I was messing with my phone's "pin code request" feature (supposely to request password entry every time you switch on the phone) when I was prompted with an error code. Seems like I have to go back to the dealer to have them unlock my phone now.
I just wanted to setup better security against access to my phone. Can you switch on security access for the phone itself? I think the "pin code" is for the SIM card, but what about just the phone itself? I'm still looking at the manual for that info. Thanks.
