once you get the data cable you need a software program, which i searched "V220" on morpheus and it gave me this software program to unlock my phone, to put your V220 in flash mode, while your phone is OFF, press and hold the *+#+ the power button at the same time. and a black screen will show up and it will say put in data cable, put in the data cable and open the software program and press the okay button the the program should say okay your phone id unlocked and then take the cable out and put in the new sim and it should work, but if you dont have the data cable and the right software and the modem, then your screwed, so i hope i help
Ok, I have the V220 motorola I put my sim in and it says "Enter Subsidy Pass...0" So what does that mean i still need to get it flashed or unlocked or what?
It will need to be unlocked, As far as the data cable goes it is not wide style like on the V600, verified that today with someone who had a V220 at work.

Ok,I got the phone unlocked at a local pawn shop, and the service works fine but when I try to access the internet it says mmode(at&t) and it should be cingulars. So is there a way that I can get the internet to work on the motorola (v220) for my cingular internet????
