Ok, I have Cingular as my service provider... and my aunt is switching to alltell and she was going to give me her at&t phone (Motorola V220) I was woundering if I could use the sim from cingular and put it in the at&t phone.... And could like a cingular store unlock it to there network or what ever they do???? Please any information will work or is there a way I can just make it work??? H E L P!!! where do I purchase this data cable? And will it work for the (motorola V220)? I read your site If I need the data cable and softwear Where do I get it and what is the correct name for it , or can you send me a link to which cable and soft wear your talking about. Thanks

You need an OEM motorola cable, you can buy them off ebay pretty cheap or from motorola. This is the cable you need, im sure you can find cheaper as I didnt really look that hard http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5789895169&category =35209&rd=1

I don't recognize the plug that goes onto the phone. It doesn't look like the one samsung posted.

look at your phone. Does it look like it will fit. I don't own a V220 phone so I can't say for sure. Most moto phones have the plug samg posted. The link you show seems to fit the newer style model phones much like the V3.

Not 100% as I do not have a V220 myself either but it should be the style that I posted.

Ok, I have the V220 motorola I put my sim in and it says "Enter Subsidy Pass...0" So what does that mean i still need to get it flashed or unlocked or what?
