I am looking to get a MPX300. I am tired of poor eBay scams, and am looking for the real deal - at an affordable price.

If you have one, can get one or know someone who does- please have them
contact me.

Please real deals only - no scams please.

I would also compermise for the new Siemens SX66 (I believe) for Cingular network.

I want a powerful Windows OS Phone.

The MPx300 (more likely known as MPx) is quite rare. My brother tried to get one via Vodafone... they even could get one from Asia... seems like a low quantity production...

Is the MPx a later or earlier model than the MPx220? If it is later, will they become more widely available, or is it discontinued? I could not find it on the Motorola site.

The MPx was the earlier model and has been discontinued.

And as I just see: I had a typo... the hadn't get one for my brother... the quantity is too low.

Currently are 5 phones offered on eBay, the "cheapest" one is currently at a price of 550 US$ and still has 2 days.

Does this suggest that there were problems with the original MPx? Did the double hinge system fall apart for example? Is it worth going for it on EBay or settle for the MPx220? Is there a better model to come soon?

I'd heard talk that they had some problems with the phone being too fragile so they limited the production run. I was drooling over them when I first saw the Motorola announcement but was quickly disillusioned when I saw how hard they were to get and how much the went for! And you just know that with prices like they're fetching lots of eBay scam auctions are out there.
