I just got a v551 and I make my own ringtones by cutting mp3s and then uploading them to a website and then go to the link on my phone to download it. I was able to download a couple of them but now it says that my phone is unable to go to the link, I am able to go to other places on the internet so I dont think that it's an internet problem. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it so that my phone will go to the links or a different way to send sounds to my phone (I dont have a bluetooth link on my computer or I would do it that way). Thanks.
(I have Cingular if that makes any difference. I've called them about it and no one can seem to give me any answer about why my phone is doint it)

I tried to send it as an MMS but in the help section it says that Cingular might drop large files (ones that are over 100 kb) and i havent received it yet so i think that it wont work. Thanks for your help though, are there any other ways that i might be able to get it to my phone?

Strange. Try a master reset on phone. It won't mess up any settings.

No, master reset will not effect pictures or ringtones, master clear will.
